There are so many fun Christmas creations you can make! Take a look at how our incredibly talented Sheila created this stunning Origami Kusudama Bauble decoration using our Twas the Night Before Christmas Collection – the perfect addition to your Christmas Tree.



You Will Need:

  • Twas the Night Before Christmas Toppers
  • Twas the Night Before Christmas 8’’ x 8’’ Paper Pad
  • Craft Construction Glue

How to Make:

  1. Cut squares of paper 2½ inches in size
  2. To create each individual flower, you will need 5 squares
  3. Each decoration is made up of 12 flowers, it requires 60 squares in total
  4. Fold the paper in half on the horizontal diagonal axis. Ensure to crease well


    5. Fold both corners to the top


     6. Placing your finger in one of the outer pockets, make a squash fold. Repeat this step on the right side


     7. Fold down the tips on both sides


8. Glue the folds on each side and hold together until dried



9. Glue the folds on each side and hold together until dried



10. Fold again and stick the sides together


11. Repeat these steps 5 times to make an origami kusudama flower

12. Repeat until you have 12 flowers in total

13. Glue them together to make the kusudama ball

Hint: For the best effect, use double-sided papers.
