Did you know today is the shortest day of the year?

There’s one day in the winter when we have the shortest amount of daylight and the longest amount of night-time.

In honour of today, we thought we would share with you some quick last minute card makes for the festive season. 

For My Beautiful Daughter

You Will Need:

How To Make:

1. Trim the left-hand side of the cardstock to 6'' x 6''

2. Layer it to a 6'' square of Mirri Card and then to the card blank

3. Use the foiled border from the same cardstock at the top of it

4. Seperate the topper and the pink frame on the card with Construction Glue

5. Use foam pads to position the topper within the frame. Decorate the edges of the frame with scalloped sentiments. Stick 3 gems beneath the foiled border.

You Will Need:

How To Make:

1. Trim ⅛'' from each side of the DL panel and cut off the poem

2. Cover the card blank with Mirri Card

3. Add the poem to the right-hand end using double-sided tape

4. Add the panel with foam pads

You Will Need:

How To Make:

1. Use Mirri Card on the front of the card blank, leaving a narrow edge of the card blank showing on all sides

2. Add a kayer of the accent-foiled cardstock with tape

3. Keeping the inner and outer frames as one, stick these on the right-hand side of the card blank with glue

4. Add a topper in the centre with foam pads

5. Stick two tags in the top left-hand corner of the frame and embellish them with a satin bow. Use three 7mm silver gemstones in the top outer corner of the card.
