Inspirations Superstore - Preston

We would be delighted to greet you at our Craft Superstore, here in Preston.
There is so much to see. We are full to the brim with a huge variety of craft products for those who sew, quilt, knit, crochet, stamp, die-cut, make cards, paint or love Crystal Art….. and so much more!

We ensure that we follow government regulations concerning Covid and look after all of our customers and staff as much as possible.

We have re-started our workshops and our Craft Club is now held on two days a week - telephone 01772 880852 for further information or to book a place.

We are open 5 days a week - closed on Tuesday and Wednesday, but open for longer on those 5 days.

It is with great sadness that we have made the difficult decision to close our much-loved Inspirations Store at the Capitol Centre, Preston.

Unfortunately our store having to close during the pandemic restrictions has meant a change in how people shop, with more and more people choosing to get their craft goodies online. The reduction in customers coming in store sadly means we are not able to continue to keep the shop open.

Our shop has won many awards over the years and been a focal point for the craft community, with visitors coming from all over the country and beyond. We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported us over the past 13 years and we are sincerely grateful for your custom and for making our jobs here at Inspirations incredibly enjoyable. We will miss chatting with you, seeing you at our popular workshops and demos, and most of all helping you with your craft projects.

We plan to close the store in late March and until then our usual business hours will continue. Please come and see us as we’ll be offering large discounts on all items and hope you will come take advantage of these savings.

When we do close, the whole team will be moving up to head office to help with your online orders, and we hope we can still inspire you here at hunkydorycrafts.co.uk, where you can shop with us online and of course watch us live on Hunkydory Craft TV.

Why is Inspirations store closing?

The pandemic has dramatically reduced the number of customers that are coming into store to shop, with customers choosing to buy online instead.

Is Hunkydory closing?

Definitely not. The main Hunkydory business continues to grow and products are available on the hunkydory website, through other retailers and websites and on shopping television.

Is anyone losing their job?

Definitely not. The team at Inspirations are all relocating to the Hunkydory head office just 2 miles away from the store.

Can I order new Hunkydory releases from you?

Please use the Hunkydory website to order all new releases. Everyone that comes into the store will get a money-off voucher for the hunkydory website - Have you got yours yet?

Can I spend my physical Gift Vouchers online?  

Yes. Please ring 01772 272572 and Customer Services will help you.

Can I buy more physical Gift Vouchers?

I’m sorry but they are now out of print. Please order Online Gift Vouchers through the Hunkydory website. 

Are you still running workshops and Craft Club next month? 

Selected workshops and Craft Club will still be running until we close.

I came in the other day and got a discount voucher. Can I use it in the store?
